About Me
As a mama of two, I've had the beautiful experience of carrying life and birthing beings into the world. Both of my births were vaginal, with my second birth being unmedicated. Both of my births also took place in hospitals. I had relatively smooth labors and births but, there were times where I felt ignored and undermined during my own care. There were even moments during my births when I felt like I just couldn't move forward. I remember wishing that I had someone there by my side who just empathized with me and cared for me with the purest of intentions. I didn't have that, though, so I had to rely on myself and remind myself that the body that grew my baby was the same body capable of birthing my baby! It was then that I realized my own strength and to this day, I hope I can support others mamas as they realize their own strength- no matter what their birth looks like.
With each of my births, I found new strength and experienced just how sacred birth is. In that vulnerable yet powerful space, mamas shouldn't have to feel alone and unheard. They deserve to be served and I want to help other mamas realize their capabilities and support them as they birth their babies with confidence.
I believe that all women should receive the delicate support of a fellow woman to be their haven as they give birth and begin to mother their babies. I understand the emotions surrounding becoming a mama and raising a child so, I have made it my mission to serve the birthing community. I'd love to be there for you and will probably cry with you as you welcome your little one into the world and transition into your own "Mama Aura".
